These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of SOU (the "Platform"), a digital financial coordination tool designed to facilitate group savings and personal financial management inspired by traditional systems such as Susu, Ajo, Esusu, and ROSCA.

By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and all incorporated agreements, including:

• Privacy Policy
• Community Savings Participation Agreement
• User Risk Acknowledgment Agreement

(collectively, the "Agreements").

SOU operates strictly as:

• A financial coordination and record-keeping platform
• A facilitator of peer-to-peer savings arrangements

By selecting "I Agree" during registration or feature use, you:

• Enter into a legally binding agreement
• Accept all incorporated policies and agreements

To use SOU, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Provide accurate and complete information
• Comply with all applicable laws

SOU reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

SOU enables users to:

• Create or join savings groups
• Set contribution schedules and payout rotations
• Track contributions and financial goals
• Receive reminders and notifications

Users participating in savings circles agree to:

• Contribute as scheduled
• Respect payout order
• Act in good faith

You agree to:

• Maintain accurate account details
• Keep login credentials secure
• Fulfill financial commitments
• Avoid fraudulent or deceptive practices

All payments are handled by licensed third-party providers. By making payments, you:

• Agree to their terms
• Acknowledge that SOU is not liable for payment failures, processing delays, or third-party errors

To comply with regulations from the Central Bank of Nigeria and Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, SOU may:

• Require identity verification (BVN/NIN)
• Monitor transactions
• Report suspicious activity

Failure to comply may result in account suspension.

Your data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and in compliance with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SOU is not liable for:

• Financial losses from group participation
• Member defaults
• Unauthorized access to accounts (unless due to our negligence)
• System interruptions or technical failures

Users agree to:

• Attempt good-faith resolution
• Escalate unresolved disputes to arbitration where applicable

SOU may suspend or terminate accounts for:

• Fraud
• Breach of Terms
• Illegal activity
• Abuse of the platform

Users may delete their account at any time.

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
